North Idaho offers a wide variety of activities for EVERY SEASON.

When the summer weather heats up, so do the fishing, boating, swimming, mountain biking, and many other outdoor activities.

For you mountain bike enthusiasts, Schweitzer Ski Resort and Silver Mountain offer fun sans snow. Ride the ski lift up the mountain with your bike coming right behind you. Then cruise down the mountain trails and roads. Or just stroll around the mountain top and enjoy the view before riding back down again. At Lookout Pass Ski And Recreation Area you can ride the 15-mile Route of the Hiawatha, with 10 tunnels and 7 high trestles in the Bitterroot Mountains between Idaho and Montana.

For thrills and family fun, Silverwood beckons, just five minutes away. With more than 66 rides and attractions, including a huge water park and Scarywood in October, you can't go wrong and we have discounted tickets.

In the morning, start with a gourmet breakfast, and in the evening, relax in the special comfort of Log Spirit. Wake refreshed and ready for another day of outdoor fun.

Log Spirit is a great place to stay if you love winter sports. The lodge is centrally located in an area with five world-class ski areas. It's only 30 miles south of Schweitzer Ski Resort, and Mount Spokane and 49° North Mountain Resort are just across the border in Washington. Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass Ski And Recreation Area are a short drive down Highway 95 and I-90. Enjoy cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, and snowboarding in the winter.
